Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring a site engineer to gain exposure across construction and maintenance projects, planning, estimation, QA/QC, HSE, and costing. You will assist the Project Engineer and collaborate with engineers and managers with the aim of becoming a project manager.

This role comes with a fast career progression and hands-on experience across multiple disciplines. A Diploma/Degree in Engineering is required, with interest in construction and ability to handle live plant

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering.
• Interest in construction as site engineer with live plant exposure.
• Ability to manage multi-discipline projects.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering construction and maintenance projects
• Prepare the technical and commercial proposals for tenders and participate in the negotiations with the clients
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Monitor compliance with HSE policies and practices and participate in HSE initiatives
• Perform overall control of the assigned work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and regularly report on project status
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

About the role

Work in different departments to gain perspective, including Construction projects, Maintenance projects, Business development, Planning and Estimation, QA/QC, HSE, purchasing and costing. This role involves assisting the Project Engineer and working alongside Engineers and managers with the goal of eventually becoming a project manager.

Key responsibilities
