Job summary

Accesstech Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to drive ongoing and new projects. You will prepare QA/QC plans, coordinate site activities, and liaise with customers, consultants, subcontractors and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of construction industrial engineering experience.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and be target oriented.
• Knowledge of civil/structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical/plumbing codes.
• Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers.

The Project team is currently looking for suitable candidates to join us as Project Engineers to drive the ongoing and new projects in the company

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans
• Assess the systems and controls that organisation has put in place
• Provide methods to carry out quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Plan for inspections at different phases of the project
• Propose continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality management system
• Draft inspection checklists
• Conduct inspections to ensure that materials used comply with relevant quality assurance requirements and regulatory guidelines
• Conduct site surveillance to adhere to quality control procedures
• Evaluate if corrective actions taken are accurate and implemented effectively
• Apply organisational environmental sustainability and green building standards and guidelines during inspections
• Plan preventative maintenance.
• Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
• Maintaining quality and safety standards are upheld.
• Site preparation and co-ordination, preparation of submission documents.
• Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub- contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met.
• Able to communicate effective to all stakeholders.
• Prepare and create detail work schedule, manpower and resource planning.
• Coordinate the safety management system on site.
• Follow up and reporting on the project progress.
• Able to understand Singapore standards or Code of Practice.
• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• For experience candidates, preferably to possess minimum 2 years relevant experience in the Construction Industrial Engineering industry.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural or mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines, codes, and regulations
• Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels.
