Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Manager to lead the QA/QC department on construction projects including M&E and CSA work. You will mentor inspection teams, review training needs, and drive compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

You will implement and manage the Quality Management System, coordinate audits, and prepare for client handover and root-cause analysis. Applicants should hold a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering, with at least 10

• Minimum 10 years’ field experience in construction, managing quality for M&E/CSA projects.

Job Scope/Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Manage QAQC department
   Lead & mentor inspection teams (IQA & OQA), QA/QC Supervisor andEngineers to undertake tasks assigned
   Review QAQC teams' skill set/training and provide recommendations on relevanttrainings.
   Manage Quality-related activities on the Project to ensure compliance toProject and applicable Regulatory requirement.
   Work with Project stakeholders to provide a consistent Quality framework forapplication across all project deliverables and promote the continualenhancement and consistent Quality Management System.
   Ensure timely closure of punch items to facilitate system handover to Client.
   Investigate and present Root-Cause Report for Resolution with Project Team asand when quality issues arise in the project.
2. Manage Quality Management System, OHSAS, Document Control Audits
   Responsible for implementation and recommendations for improvements of QualityManagement System.
   Implementation of systematic documentation turnover system for all ProjectQuality-related documentation.
   Establish quality plans & activities, ensure readiness of all sections for internal/externalaudits.
   Ensure Project SOP are appropriately authorized for implementation and adequatetrainings are provided.
   Develop and implement Audit Schedule for key work processes and designactivities (Quality Reports, Engineering Drawings, Change Notices/DesignModifications, Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans, etc).
   Perform all internal and external audits.
   Chair or attend Qualification Review meetings with clients and projectstakeholders.
   Take on role as Management Representative for ISO & OHSAS programs.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering orother equivalent certificates.
• Minimum 10 years’ field experience in Construction industry managing qualityfor M&E/CSA projects, preferably Pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a QA/QC Manager in construction projects.
• Knowledge in ACMV, Ducting, Process Piping, other M&E related systems andCSA.
