Job summary

Qualifications

• CSWIP and NDT certifications are required.
• Experience leading QA/QC on oil and gas projects.

Job Summary

Lead and manage quality assurance and control functions for projects, ensuring compliance with client standards and driving continuous improvement to achieve project quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA/QC site team to deliver comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control across assigned projects.
• Establish and maintain project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control Systems aligned with established project quality plans.
• Review weekly Weld Defect Rate summaries for Structure and Piping to ensure compliance with stipulated project KPIs.
• Prepare and submit project-specific QA/QC documentation in accordance with project requirements for new projects.
• Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed established quality targets and standards.
• Drive the execution and supervision of daily inspection, testing activities, and related documentation preparation.
• Write relevant Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA) related to quality to fulfill client requirements.
• Review and approve Quality Procedures issued by clients and suppliers to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Review all non-conformance and defect reports, coordinating corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments.
• Liaise effectively with clients and subcontractors on all QA/QC activities, meetings, and issue resolution.
• Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITP) to ensure thorough quality control measures.
• Review, maintain, and witness Welder Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Tests, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international codes/standards.
• Review inspection and testing reports, including Mill Certificates, Tank Construction, and Piping Test Package preparation.
• Review and approve Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) inspection reports from third-party inspectors and distribute to relevant discipline leads.
• Liaise with clients and classification bodies (e.g., AME, ABS, DNV, BV, API) for document approvals, inspections, and final release certificates upon project completion.
• Supervise the preparation of final project dossiers to ensure completeness and compliance.
