Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for on-site work in Tampines. You will develop and enforce quality control plans, review drawings, and monitor all quality activities across design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of piping projects.

The role requires experience with NDT, welding inspections, and test procedures, with a focus on meeting client specifications and industry standards. Minimum 2 years on-site experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of welding inspection (AWS or CSWIP certification advantageous).
• Knowledge of auditor certification.
• Experience with base build piping fabrication, hook-up module fabrication, and welding inspections of structural and piping works including NDT.
• Experience in piping line walk and reinstatement inspections.
• Able to read and interpret isometric drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce quality control plans (QCPs) specific to each project, including inspection points, testing requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
• Monitor quality control measures at all stages of the piping project, from material selection through to installation
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of piping components to verify conformity with design specifications and quality standards
• Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) processes, including radiographic, ultrasonic, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle testing
• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic tests on piping systems to verify structural integrity and leak-tightness
• Conduct material receiving inspections and review material certificates to verify suitability and quality
• Monitor welding procedures, qualifications, and welder performance to ensure high-quality welds in piping systems
• Maintain comprehensive records of all inspection and testing activities, including test results, inspection reports, and relevant documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams on quality-related concerns and provide technical guidance

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of project works across all phases — design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The role involves implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, performing tests, and working closely with project teams to achieve high-quality installations that meet industry standards and client specifications.

1. Salary: SGD 2,500 – 4,000 + meal and transport allowances (variable)

2. Location: Tampines Industrial

3. Working hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–6pm, Friday 8am–5pm (5-day week)

4. Project duration: Minimum 2 years on-site at Tampines
