TECHLEAD TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to support semiconductor facility projects in Singapore.

You will inspect gas and process piping, electrical works, and related installations against approved drawings and specs. Responsibilities include witnessing inspections, documenting results, identifying defects, and coordinating with engineers, contractors and customers to ensure compliance and timely handover.

QA/QC Inspector - Semiconductor

About Us

TECHLEADTECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is a Singapore subsidiary of our Taiwan headquartered group specialising in the semiconductor with operations in Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and the United States.

As our Singapore operations continue to expand, we are looking for a QA/QC Inspector to support our semiconductor facility engineering projects, particularly in specialty gas piping, process piping, electrical systems and related facility engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections for semiconductor facility engineering projects.
• Inspect gas piping, process piping, electrical and related facility installation works according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct and witness required inspection and testing activities at project sites.
• Check installation quality, workmanship, materials and completed works to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Perform visual inspections and verify that installation works are completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify defects, non-conformities and quality issues and coordinate with engineers, supervisors and contractors for rectification.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify that corrective actions have been properly completed.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, checklists, photographs and QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure inspection and testing records are complete, accurate and properly documented.
• Review relevant engineering drawings, specifications, method statements and inspection/test requirements.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, customers and other stakeholders on inspection schedules and quality matters.
• Support testing, commissioning, final inspection and project handover activities.
• Ensure work complies with Company, customer, quality and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Perform other QA/QC and project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Facilities Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in QA/QC inspection, semiconductor facilities, gas piping, process piping, M&E or engineering projects is preferred.
• Experience working in a semiconductor fab or semiconductor facility project will be an advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, piping layouts and technical specifications.
• Familiar with inspection procedures, testing requirements and QA/QC documentation.
• Good attention to detail with a strong quality and safety mindset.
• Able to identify workmanship defects and follow up on rectification works.
• Able to prepare clear inspection reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to work at different customer/project sites within Singapore as required.
