Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced QA engineer to design and execute comprehensive test strategies for cloud-based and digital products.

You will perform functional, API, integration and end-to-end testing while building automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. The role requires hands-on testing across web and distributed systems, strong defect analysis skills, and collaboration with developers to prevent defects and improve testability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA or software testing experience with test automation.
• Strong API, integration and end-to-end testing skills.
• Experience testing web apps and distributed systems.
• Good defect investigation and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Familiarity with AWS, GitLab CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset; security testing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies based on product risks.
• Perform functional, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD integration.
• Test APIs and distributed/integrated systems.
• Identify edge cases and potential quality risks.
• Conduct performance, reliability and security testing.
• Investigate defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and prevent defects.
• Monitor quality metrics and advise release readiness.
• Support testing of cloud-based applications and digital products.
