Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a QA Engineer in Singapore to lead testing across web, mobile, and enterprise applications. You will define test scope, build plans, and drive quality with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes automation using PyTest, Appium, Playwright, and Selenium, plus applying AI to accelerate test design, data prep, and reporting. You will support UAT, report defects, and help improve QA processes and metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of QA/Software Testing experience.
• Degree in IT/CS or related technical discipline.
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans, cases, scripts, and reports.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define test scope and risks.
• Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, data and schedules for web, mobile, and enterprise apps.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, performance, and basic security tests.
• Document results and prepare test reports for stakeholders.
• Log, track, retest, and close defects with clear steps and evidence.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using PyTest, Appium, Playwright, Selenium.
• Support UAT by preparing scripts, guiding users, sessions, and consolidating feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and improve product quality.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate test case generation, automation, data preparation, and reporting.
• Review and enhance QA processes, standards, and metrics; use AI to draft tests and reports.
• Use AI to assist automation script generation, locator strategy, debugging, and maintenance.
• Summarise defects and compare expected vs actual behavior for stakeholder communications.
• Prepare UAT plans, scripts, data, and user guidance.
• Facilitate UAT sessions with business users and track resolutions.
• Collect feedback, raise defects, and support resolution tracking.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution schedules for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, performance, and basic security-related tests.
• Document test results clearly and prepare comprehensive test reports for project stakeholders.
• Log, track, retest, and close defects using project defect management tools, ensuring clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence are provided.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as PyTest, Appium, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent frameworks.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing UAT scripts, guiding users, facilitating sessions, and consolidating user feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and drive continuous product quality improvement.
• Apply AI tools responsibly to accelerate test case generation, automation development, defect analysis, test data preparation, and reporting.
• Continuously review and enhance QA processes, testing standards, automation coverage, and quality metrics.
  Leverage AI tools to draft, refine, and validate test scenarios, test cases, checklists, and reports.
• Use AI to support automation script generation, locator strategy, debugging, and script maintenance.
• Apply AI to summarise defects, compare expected vs actual behaviour, and improve stakeholder communications.
• Prepare UAT plans, scripts, test data, and user guidance materials.
• Facilitate UAT sessions with business users and stakeholders.
• Collect feedback, clarify issues, raise defects, and support resolution tracking.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, Test Analyst, or in a similar capacity.
• Educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong ability to create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, and test reports.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and defect life cycle.
• Proven experience in functional and regression testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Good working knowledge of performance testing concepts including load, stress, response time, and throughput validation.
• Basic understanding of security testing principles such as authentication, authorisation, input validation, session handling, and OWASP fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as PyTest, Appium, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong AI adoption mindset with practical experience using AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
