Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on software testing experience to join our team in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will combine strong manual and functional testing with test automation and an interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency and product quality. The role involves collaborating with developers, business analysts and product owners, developing automated tests, and contributing to QA process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to identify testing scope and risks
• Prepare test plans, test cases, test scenarios, test data and test reports
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity and performance testing
• Identify, document, track and retest defects through resolution
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Appium or similar tools
• Support UAT planning and execution, including working directly with business users
• Work closely with developers, Business Analysts and Product Owners to resolve issues and improve product quality
• Leverage AI tools to assist with test case creation, automation scripting, defect analysis, test data generation and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage

Job description

We are looking for a QA Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on software testing experience to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual and functional testing, with experience in test automation and a genuine interest in using AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to identify testing scope and risks.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, test scenarios, test data and test reports.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity and performance testing.
• Identify, document, track and retest defects through resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Appium or similar tools.
• Support UAT planning and execution, including working directly with business users.
• Work closely with developers, Business Analysts and Product Owners to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, Test Analyst or similar.
• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related disciplines.
• Strong experience in manual and functional testing, including regression and integration testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks/tools such as PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Appium or equivalent.
• Understanding of performance testing concepts such as load, stress and response time.
• Basic understanding of security testing and OWASP concepts.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile and defect management.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for software testing is highly preferred.
