Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a QA Engineer to design and execute test cases for frontend and backend systems. You will develop and maintain automated test suites and perform API testing to ensure data integrity.

You will collaborate with developers and product managers, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, and drive improvements to QA processes, tools, and coverage. This role offers hybrid work arrangements with a salary up to SGD 6,500 monthly.

Qualifications

3+ years of QA/testing experience for full-stack apps.
Experience with automated testing frameworks like Cypress/Selenium/Playwright/Jest.
Strong API testing knowledge using Postman, REST-assured, or similar.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and backend concepts.
Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for frontend and backend systems.
Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end).
Perform API testing and validate backend logic and data integrity.
Test UI functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria.
Participate in code reviews and sprint planning from a quality perspective.
Perform regression, performance, and load testing as needed.
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and test coverage.
