Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our full stack web applications. You’ll design and execute test strategies across frontend and backend systems, working closely with developers to catch issues early and maintain a high bar for product quality.

The role offers hybrid/work-from-home flexibility with 9am–6pm hours, Monday to Friday. Mostly remote work with occasional in-office days is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of QA/software testing for full stack applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest, or similar).
• Solid understanding of API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured, or similar).
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for frontend and backend systems
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Perform API testing and validate backend business logic and data integrity
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning from a quality perspective
• Perform regression, performance, and load testing as needed
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and test coverage
