Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a QA/Software Tester for a 12-month contract in Toa Payoh. You will design, write, and execute test cases for frontend and backend systems, and develop automated test suites.

The role requires 3+ years of QA experience, familiarity with Cypress/Selenium/Playwright/Jest, API testing, SQL, and CI/CD. Collaboration with developers and product managers is essential to ensure quality throughout agile sprints.

Qualifications

3+ years of QA/testing experience for full stack applications.
Experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest, or similar).

Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for frontend and backend systems.
Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end).
Perform API testing and validate backend logic and data integrity.
Test UI functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria.
Participate in code reviews and sprint planning from a quality perspective.
Perform regression, performance, and load testing as needed.
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and test coverage.
