Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in QA/Software Testing.
• Strong Python skills with PyTest/Selenium/Robot Framework/Cypress experience.
• Experience with Azure or AWS and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong SQL skills and API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Solid Git knowledge and understanding of testing methodologies.
• Good communication with global teams.

Our client, a global financial services firm, is looking for a hands‑on QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated test suites for their financial applications.

Location: Central Singapore

Reports to: Head of Software Engineering (USA)

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain automated test suites (smoke, regression, integration, performance)
• Write test scripts in Python and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Test APIs, databases, and large data flows (SQL/PostgreSQL/Snowflake)
• Work with developers and analysts to define test cases and acceptance criteria

Track test coverage and report on quality metrics

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 to 6 years in QA/Software Testing
• Strong Python skills; experience with PyTest, Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cypress
• Experience with Azure or AWS, plus CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
• Strong SQL skills and API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured)
• Solid Git knowledge and understanding of core testing methodologies
• Good communication skills for working with global teams (such as developers, business analyst, stakeholders, and vendors)
• Experience in financial/quantitative systems is a plus but not required.
