Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software QA or automation experience.
• Hands-on Robot Framework with browser/HTTP drivers and libraries.
• Practical knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and testing tools.
• API testing proficiency with Postman, Newman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control (Git) and issue trackers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain test plans, manual and automated test cases.

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Software QA Engineer (Automation) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Software QA Engineer (Automation)
• Location: MacPherson
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
• Salary Package: Up to $5,800 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain comprehensive test plans, manual/ automated test cases, and test scripts across complex user workflows.
• Architect and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and mobile platforms; integrate automated testing directly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, and UX/UI Designers to establish clear, verifiable acceptance criteria and refine requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across multiple environments.
• Ensure solutions meet strict accessibility, usability, and regulatory standards.
• Log, track, and document bugs clearly; provide actionable feedback to developers; and participate in code reviews from a QA perspective.
• Assist in defining, mentoring, and refining QA methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across the team.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software QA, test engineering, or automated testing.
• Hands-on experience building/ maintaining automation frameworks using Robot Framework, along with underlying drivers/ libraries (Browser Library, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
• Practical experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and testing tools (e.g., Axe-core, LambdaTest/ TestMu AI).
• Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration (GitLab CI, Jenkins), version control (Git), and issue management platforms (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with cross-browser execution and cloud testing platforms (e.g., LambdaTest/ TestMu AI).
