TALENT LEGAL GLOBAL SEARCH CONSULTANCY (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated test suites for financial applications.

You will write Python scripts, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and test APIs, databases, and large data flows while collaborating with global developers and analysts to ensure quality. The role requires 5–6 years in QA with strong Python, API testing, and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
• 5–6 years in QA/Software Testing with hands-on automation.

Job description

Our client, a global financial services firm, is looking for a hands‑on QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated test suites for their financial applications.
Location: Central Singapore

Reports to: Head of Software Engineering (USA)

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain automated test suites (smoke, regression, integration, performance)
• Write test scripts in Python and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Test APIs, databases, and large data flows (SQL/PostgreSQL/Snowflake)
• Work with developers and analysts to define test cases and acceptance criteria
• Track test coverage and report on quality metrics

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 to 6 years in QA/Software Testing
• Strong Python skills; experience with PyTest, Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cypress
• Experience with Azure or AWS, plus CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
• Strong SQL skills and API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured)
• Solid Git knowledge and understanding of core testing methodologies
• Good communication skills for working with global teams such as developers, business analyst, stakeholders and vendors
