Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Engineering leader to manage a team of Shift and Assistant Maintenance Engineers in a Wafer Fab environment. You will set direction, develop capabilities, and ensure equipment performance at high yield and low cost, while driving continuous improvement across sustainability and safety programs.

You will train engineers, optimize throughput, and collaborate with industrial planning to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
Proven experience managing engineering teams for 5+ years.
Technical proficiency with AMAT and/or Novellus semiconductor tools.
Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
Business proficiency in English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead teams and liaise with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers and Assistant Maintenance Engineers with clear direction for achieving common goals.
Drive and support manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to achieve best efficiency and quality.
Liaise with external suppliers and professionals from other sites for department needs.
Provide technical trainings and guidance to engineers and establish training plans.
Ensure equipment runs at high efficiency and supports production targets with robust processes.
Implement cost-saving activities while maintaining quality and speed.
