Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior Maintenance Engineering Manager to oversee a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers and Assistant Maintenance Engineers in a Wafer Fab operation.

You will set directions, mentor engineers, ensure high equipment availability, optimize throughput, and drive cost reduction while maintaining quality and safety.

The role involves cross-site coordination, training programs, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Technical proficiency with AMAT and/or Novellus semiconductor tools.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis (Power BI preferred).
• Business proficiency in English; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Shift and Assistant Maintenance Engineers to meet production goals.
• Drive equipment efficiency, uptime, and quality across the wafer fab.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-site teams to source technical needs.
• Develop training plans and career development for engineers.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising safety or quality.
