Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Owner to lead maintenance improvement projects, optimize costs per wafer, and improve equipment reliability and throughput. You will startup new tools, coordinate with vendors, and implement preventive maintenance and training for technicians.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3+ years with wet spin tools or wet benches, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics/mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with Wet Equipment Spin tools or Wet Benches.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and block diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pump/flow).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Teamwork with multiple departments.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of statistical tools, 8D, and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment improvement projects to optimize maintenance cost per wafer and throughput.
• Coordinate startup, vendor liaison, and acceptance testing for new equipment.
• Develop maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to optimize uptime without quality loss.
• Train junior engineers and technicians in troubleshooting and equipment basics.
• Define spares, consumables, and stock levels to support recovery time.
• Translate production and engineering needs into actionable maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives and downtime analysis.
