Job summary

Tempserv Pte Ltd is seeking a Purchasing Officer for the East Area in the electronics manufacturing industry. The role involves identifying and evaluating suppliers to meet price, quality, timing and reliability standards, while maintaining market knowledge for electrical and mechanical commodities.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with some experience in purchasing in electronics and strong negotiation and sourcing skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Some years of purchasing experience electronics industry.
• Strong negotiation and sourcing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identify research and evaluate suppliers meeting price, quality, timing and reliability standards.

• Perform cost analysis using basic technical information.
• Familiar with sourcing and procurement procedures in manufacturing environments.
• Reduce and manage inventory effectively for the company.

• Ensure Quality, Delivery, Cost and Flexibility are met from the suppliers and vendors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics /Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Prefer few years of purchasing experience electronics industry.
• Strong Negotiation Power and Good Sourcing Knowledge.
