Job summary

The role involves negotiating terms, managing spend, conducting supplier performance reviews, landed cost analysis, BOM support, risk assessments and driving annual cost-saving

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing and sourcing strategies to support business objectives.
• Source, evaluate and select suitable suppliers based on pricing, quality, lead time and supply reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts to achieve competitive costs and sustainable cost savings.
• Manage purchasing activities and material requirements to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
• Review customer requirements, product specifications and lead-time requirements with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and work with vendors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform landed cost analysis and evaluate sourcing opportunities.
• Support BOM and material planning for smooth production and project delivery.
• Conduct procurement risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Lead annual cost-saving and supplier improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple procurement projects.o
