Job summary

Tex-Star Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a procurement assistant to support engineers and department supervisors on purchasing for projects and workshop tooling, hardware and miscellaneous items.

You will follow up on processes and deliveries, coordinate with suppliers on price and delivery, monitor stock levels and assist in ERP implementation on the production floor and inventory control, ensuring ISO standards are met through audits and proper storage of inventories.

Qualifications

• Assist engineers and supervisors with purchasing for projects and workshop tooling, hardware and miscellaneous items.
• Coordinate follow-up on purchasing processes and deliveries, including quality checks.
• Liaise with suppliers on price, delivery terms and negotiations.
• Monitor stock levels and verify purchase requisitions.
• Assist in implementing ERP on the production floor and inventory control.
• Oversee storage of all inventories and ensure ISO-related compliance and audits.
