Job summary

FLINTEX CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Officer to handle purchase orders, coordinate shipments, and manage inventories to meet customers’ requirements.

You will follow up with suppliers, perform GRN in SAP, negotiate payment terms, and support demand and materials planning in a fast-paced environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage Purchase Orders to manufacturers/suppliers and follow-up on shipment schedules.
• Escalate orders with manufacturers to fulfill customer requests and plan inventory.
• Monitor demand planning, forecast variance, and material replenishment.
• Check warehouse space, maintain stock at safety level, and ensure timely shipments.
• Issue POs with correct terms, pricing, and negotiate payment terms with suppliers.
• Check order progress, arrange shipment clearance, and perform GRN in SAP.
• Validate supplier invoices and perform shipping documentation.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing and management of Purchase Orders to manufacturers/suppliers, follow-up on shipment schedules, production schedules, shipments clearance, and inventories control
• Escalation of orders with manufacturers/suppliers to fulfill customers’ requests
• Inventory planning and control, expediting and follow-up on orders and shipments clearance, and management to meet customers’ requests (this may include short lead-time orders)
• Demand planning, material replenishment planning, monitoring of forecast entered by Sales team- highlight if the forecast vs actual variance is too much
• To monitor warehouse storage space for optimum inventory and maintain minimum stock and at the same time keep stock at safety level
• Issue of Purchase Order with correct Shipping/Delivery term and pricing
• Follow-up to ensure the best payment term is granted by manufacturers/suppliers
• Checking on orders process and schedules with manufacturers/suppliers, arrangement of shipment clearance for storage, etc.
• Perform Good Receive in SAP and validate supplier invoices
• Negotiate with sales and suppliers
• Performing shipping documentation
• Perform GRN
• Any other ad-hoc as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply
• Experience with using SAP system will be advantages
• Able to work in a face-paced environment
