Job summary

Well Established Company in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Officer with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering to source and purchase spare parts and consumables for engineers. This on-site role at Gul Circle offers Mon to Fri, 8am to 6pm, with salary range SGD 2,500 to SGD 4,000 plus VB.

You will manage inventory, ensure quality and compliance of supplied products, negotiate terms, process POs, monitor delivery timelines, and conduct supplier evaluations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and purchasing spare parts and consumables requested by Engineers.
• Manage store inventory and ensure sufficient stock levels to support daily operations.
• Ensure the quality and compliance of all products supplied to the company.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
• Process purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines to ensure on-time supply.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare monthly reports for management review.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure performance and compliance standards.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements.
