Job summary

XIYUAN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a proactive Purchasing professional to source materials, obtain quotes, evaluate suppliers and process Purchase Orders for project needs.

You will coordinate with suppliers and the project/warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery, maintain bilingual English-Mandarin purchasing records, and support inventory control, with AWS included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing experience.
• Experience in hardware, construction materials or related industries is required.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment and supplies for project requirements.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO).
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with the Storekeeper to monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.

Work Details

• Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-day work week)
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
