Job summary

NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Solution Architect to lead technical strategy and design for Singapore public sector projects. You will bridge engineering delivery teams with government ministries, ensuring bids win and solutions comply with MCC/GCC and IM8.

Responsibilities include designing containerized microservices, authoring architecture blueprints, and delivering secure, scalable deployments on AWS while maintaining strict government guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience delivering public sector projects.
• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is required.
• TOGAF 9 / TOGAF Enterprise Architecture or equivalent certification.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React.js and Node.js.
• Experience deploying high-availability infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
• Must be clearable under Singapore government security clearance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design modern containerized microservices architectures using Java/Spring Boot, React.js, and Node.js.
• Author technical architecture blueprints, state-of-play matrices, and resource effort estimates for public sector tenders.
• Architect and deploy applications on AWS complying with MCC/GCC on boarding requirements.
• Present designs, risk mitigation plans, and change requests to PMOs and auditors.
• Embed automated security controls and ensure IM8 compliance in the delivery pipeline.
