Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned enterprise software engineer to architect and deliver cloud-native solutions for public sector projects. You will own architectural blueprints, drive Pre-Sales technical leadership, and ensure secure, high-availability deployments on AWS in compliance with MCC/GCC onboarding rules.

You will also present designs to PMOs and auditors, and embed automated security controls within the pipeline to meet IM8/DevSecOps standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering delivering projects for public sector clients.
• Mandatory cloud certification: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional; enterprise architecture certs required.
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, React.js and Node.js with AWS deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design modern, containerized microservices architectures that fit vendor delivery framework and SLA metrics.
• Lead technical architecture blueprints, state-of-play matrices, and resource effort estimations for tenders.
• Architect and migrate deployments onto AWS compliant with MCC/GCC onboarding requirements.
• Act as trusted technical advisor presenting designs, risk plans, and change requests to PMOs/auditors.
• Embed automated security controls (SAST/DAST) into the delivery pipeline before handover.

Job description

• Solution & Architecture: Design modern, containerized microservices architectures using Java/Spring Boot, React.js, and Node.js that fit the vendor delivery framework and SLA metrics.
• Pre-Sales & RFP Technical Leadership: Author comprehensive technical architecture blueprints, state-of-play matrices, and resource effort estimations for public sector tenders
• GCC /MCC Deployment Delivery: Architect and orchestrate application migration and deployment onto AWS environments conforming strictly to MCC/GCC on boarding requirements.
• Client-Facing Technical Diplomacy: Act as the trusted technical advisor presenting technical designs, risk mitigation plans, and change requests clearly to government project management offices (PMOs) and technical auditors.
• IM8 Compliance & DevSecOps Assurance: Embed automated security compliance tools (SAST/DAST) into the delivery pipeline to meet mandatory IM8 security controls and penetration testing guidelines before government handover.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including significant experience delivering projects on behalf of a System Integrator to public sector clients.
• Mandatory Cloud Certification: Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification Valid industry-standard Enterprise Architecture certification is required (e.g., TOGAF 9 / TOGAF Enterprise Architecture, IASA CITA, or equivalent).
• Technical Proficiencies: Experience in application delivery in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Node.js. Hands-on expertise architecting high-availability infrastructure deployments using AWS cloud-native patterns.
