Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Business Grants Portal onboarding for government agencies, translating operational needs into system solutions and improving user experience.

You will engage grant agencies, translate requirements into functional specs and user stories, and collaborate with product and technical teams to implement enhancements and manage migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, CS, IS, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, product implementation or project management.
• Experience translating requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of SDLC, business process mapping, system testing and UAT.
• Experience in system implementation or enhancement of digital platforms, including workflows and business processes.
• Familiarity with data mapping, data validation, reconciliation or migration activities is advantageous.
• Experience in grant administration, government systems or digital service platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage users and grant agencies to understand processes and requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories and flows.
• Work with product and technical teams to implement system enhancements.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and track defects.
• Support system migration projects including data mapping, validation and testing.
• Plan migration cutover and post-migration issue resolution.
• Analyze user feedback and operational data to identify improvements.
