Job summary

C ROOM PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Pub Operations Manager to oversee daily pub operations, including bar, kitchen, and floor. You will lead a team, curate menus, manage suppliers, ensure compliance, and drive sales through events and promotions.

As a hands-on leader, you will optimize costs, monitor inventory, and deliver high-energy guest service while maintaining a vibrant, safe, and compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Proven pub/bar management experience.
• Strong knowledge of beer, spirits, cocktails, and pub food.
• Familiarity with liquor laws and responsible service requirements.
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management tools, and MS Office.
• Ability to solve problems effectively under pressure.
• Skilled in delegating tasks across teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff and customer interactions.
• Up-to-date knowledge of nightlife and drink trends.
• Capability to manage staff, control costs, and meet sales targets.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pub operations: bar, kitchen, and floor to ensure smooth functioning within budget.
• Deliver high-energy, excellent guest service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Curate and update drink and food menus while managing supplier relationships to maintain quality and variety.
• Control stock levels, minimize waste, and manage costs to optimize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations, responsible service standards, and safety protocols.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and coordinate special events to enhance patron experience.
• Plan and execute promotions, happy hours, and themed events to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Track and analyze sales, labor costs, and overall profitability to inform operational decisions.
• Maintain pub ambiance through management of music, lighting, and cleanliness to create a welcoming environment.
