Job summary

Verve Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee all areas of the bar, ensure guest service excellence, and maintain a professional image including cleanliness and appearance standards.

You will lead a team, optimize SOPs, control costs, manage invoices and payroll-related duties, and plan staffing for shifts. This role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on beverage quality and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in bar or restaurant management.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, service standards and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that bar and service meet SOP
• Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimise costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs
• Ensure financial and payroll administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
• Respond to complaints and turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
• Investigate and resolve beverage quality and service issues
• Develop employees through feedback and performance reviews
• Prepare bar staffing plans and schedules for all shifts
• Assist in restaurant-level functions and events
• Train new hires and lead by example
• Ensure hygiene in beverage prep and personal hygiene standards
