Job summary

Emerson Automation Solutions Final Control Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support PSVs.

You will perform overhaul, testing, and maintenance across workshop and customer sites, delivering high quality service while ensuring safety and delivery on time. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will work with customers, service teams, and sales partners to troubleshoot, document findings, and provide reliable guidance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with related experience.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, repair, or overhaul in industrial settings.
• Able to read technical documents and reports.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul, maintenance, inspection, assembly, testing, and repair of PSVs in workshop and customer sites.
• Conduct pop testing, calibration, setting, and functional testing per procedures.
• Generate and maintain job cards, worksheets, service reports and related documentation.
• Document service findings and update records promptly after activities.
• Identify replacement parts, recommend repair solutions and support customers with technical guidance.
• Conduct site walkdowns and asset audits to evaluate valve conditions and improvements.
• Perform onsite overhaul services, valve commissioning, settings adjustment and testing.
• Support witnessed testing activities with customers, inspectors and third parties.
• Collaborate with Sales and Asia Pacific Lifecycle Services during visits and troubleshooting.
• Support Asia Pacific Lifecycle Services in customer training, seminars and workshops.
• Provide service at customer facilities including embedded sites such as Jurong Island and Pulau Bukom.
• Support local and overseas service assignments as needed.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and per customer expectations.
