Job summary

ALPSOFT TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a field service technician to appraise, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical products and equipment, mainly pumps, at customer sites in Singapore.

You will manage end-to-end servicing, from installation to after-sales support, ensuring equipment operates to specification. The role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical training plus willingness to travel and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, installation or commissioning is an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant hands-on experience but without direct industry experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Appraise, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical products and equipment.
• Manage the end-to-end servicing of pumps, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and after-sales support.
• Provide onsite technical advice and support to customers, addressing equipment and system-related issues.
• Perform installation and commissioning activities in accordance with project requirements and customer specifications.
• Provide frontline field service support, including basic fault finding, troubleshooting, rectification and preventive/planned maintenance.
• Execute service activities efficiently and effectively, including working under pressure and meeting tight project deadlines when required.
