Job summary

MINDEF is seeking a dedicated professional to plan, manage and monitor material support for upgrading projects within the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) in Singapore. You will work closely with the PMT, DSTA Procurement and units to develop a robust material supply concept and milestones.

You will raise purchase requests, manage material data codification, and monitor deliveries to ensure smooth project execution, reconciling purchases for a seamless move to O&S.

Qualifications

• Education in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, including Procurement and Logistics, is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management and inventory management, with in-depth knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in SAP, particularly in Material Master Data, Procurement, and Supply Management, will be an added advantage.
• Applicants with no experience may apply. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop the material supply support concept and milestones with the Project Management Team (PMT), DSTA Procurement, and units.
• Raise Purchase Requests, manage material data codification, and monitor deliveries to ensure smooth project execution.
• Reconcile project purchases to ensure seamless transition to Operation and Support (O&S).
• Drive data analytics and digitalisation efforts to automate the collation of material data and improve process efficiency.
• Coordinate with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of equipment across all projects.
