Job summary

Advanced CAE Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Proposal Engineer to support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for Process Analyzer Systems across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical industries.

This role blends technical knowledge, costing and proposal development while working closely with Engineering, Sales, Project teams and customers to develop competitive solutions from tender to handover.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in Proposal Engineering, Technical Proposals, Pre-Sales, Tendering, Estimation or Project Coordination.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Process Automation or Instrumentation preferred.
Knowledge of Process Analyzers, Analytical Instrumentation or Sample Handling Systems is an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare, draft and compile technical and commercial tender proposals meeting customer specs and requirements.
Review tender documents and coordinate inputs from Engineering, Sales, suppliers and stakeholders for timely submissions.
Prepare preliminary design and costing for Analyzer Systems, including Sample Handling Systems, analyzers, racks, cabinets and shelters with Engineering support.
Develop clear and competitive proposal content based on customer and project requirements.
Respond to technical bid evaluations, clarifications and revised proposals.
