Job summary

Advanced CAE Pte Ltd is seeking a Lead Engineer in Singapore to drive engineering projects for process analyzer system integration. Based in Bukit Batok East West Region, this full-time role offers opportunities to lead multidisciplinary teams and contribute to strategic growth in the Engineering Science sector.

You will oversee design, costing, and implementation of analyzer systems, sample handling components, and racks/cabinets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• Preferably 5+ years experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical industries with good understanding of analytical products.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to break down high-level requirements into actionable tasks and provide estimates.
• Lead team within territory, manage workload, coach and mentor staff.
• Lead design and costing on Analyzer System and related components.
• Implement engineering processes, standards, tools, policies and documentation.
• Source and evaluate new products such as analyzers and sample system components.
• Support international projects across offices as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of information classified as Confidential.
• Develop engineering and project teams into proficient individuals and leaders.
• Ensure proper generation, collection, storage and disposition of information.
• Maintain integrity of engineering documentation archives per Company procedures.
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned.

About the role

As a Lead Engineer at Advanced CAE Pte Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in leading engineering projects for process analyzer system integration. Based in Bukit Batok East West Region, this full-time position offers the opportunity to drive project execution, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the company’s strategic growth in the Engineering Science sector.

What you'll be doing

• Work with project managers to break down high-level requirements into actionable tasks. They provide realistic technical estimates and identify risks.
• Lead team within territory, inclusive of workload distribution, managing performance, coaching, and mentoring/ train new/junior staffs within department.
• Lead team for design and costing on Analyzer System, not limited to Sample Handling System, Analyzers, and Racks/Cabinets/Shelters.
• Implementation of engineering process with best practices, standards, tools, policies, procedures, templates and other shared documentation available from Company.
• Source and evaluate new products, i.e. analyzers, sample system components, etc.
• Support international project through other offices as and when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of any information that are classified as Confidential.
• Assume leadership and management of engineering & project team members assigned and to develop them into proficient individual/team member.
• Ensuring timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage and ultimate disposition of information.
• Ensuring integrity of the project and engineering documentation archives in accordance with the Company Procedure.
• Conduct post-project reviews.
• Implementation and maintenance of the lessons learned process.
• Ensuring focus on understanding customer needs and solving of customer problems to improve customer satisfaction.
• Providing sales support on engineering issues for system projects.
• Ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimation for major systems project pursuit.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering
• Preferably more than 5 years working experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical industries and a good understanding of analytical products and systems.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Task-driven, self-motivated, positive working attitude and able to work independently.
• A good team player and able to work under pressure, willing to travel and able to work long hours when required to meet deadline
