Job summary

JEL MAINTENANCE PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a capable estimator for tender and proposal work. You will prepare technical and commercial documents with costing, estimation and supplier liaison.

You will handle pre-qualification processes and ensure compliance with tender terms and conditions. The role requires 3–5 years of cost estimation experience, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency in MS Office, MS Projects and CAD.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation and preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Knowledge of tender scope, terms, and pre-qualification procedures.
• Familiarity with mechanical, piping, and related works.
• Ability to interpret PID/Isometric/GA/3D drawings and source BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with costing and estimation.
• Coordinate pre-qualification activities and liaise with clients and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with authority regulations and tender terms.
• Support project teams in plant construction, operation, and maintenance knowledge.

Job Description:-

• Experience in Tender Processes and online submission, etc,
• Preparing Technical and Commercial Proposals with costing and estimation.
• Pre-Qualification procedures and thorough knowledge in tender scope & terms and conditions.
• Experience in Mechanical, Piping & associated works
• PID, Isometric, GA, 3D drawings interpretation, Preparing Bill of Materials and sourcing suppliers / vendors.
• Communication & Negotiating skill and liaison with Clients and Subcons.
• Knowledge in Authority regulations & requirements.
• Understanding of workflow and sequence for preparing the Technical & Commercial Proposals and experience in documentation standards
• Experience and knowledge in Plant Construction, Operation and Maintenance shall be an added advantage.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 5 years' experience in cost estimation and preparing technical & commercial proposal documents.
• Software skills: MS-Office / MS-Projects / CAD
