Job summary

ENGIE Southeast Asia is seeking a Building Services/ M&E Engineering professional to supervise a team of in-house maintenance staff, inspect M&E services, and coordinate improvement or rectification work within an office building.

You will obtain quotations from M&E contractors, plan preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, schedule servicing, and oversee safety, ISO 14000/18000 documentation, audits, and the overall Quality, Environment, Health & Safety matters to maintain a safe,

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Building services / M&E Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years working experience in managing office buildings.
  • Able to lead a team of in-house maintenance staff and M&E term contractors.
  • Preferably with good knowledge of ISO 18000 and ISO 14000 matters.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Has a good safety mindset and demonstrates WSH awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of in-house maintenance staff.
  • Carry out regular inspection of the M&E services and recommend improvements to the Manager.
  • Obtain quotations from M&E contractors and review their scopes and specs.
  • Plan preventive and corrective maintenance works.
  • Schedule contractors’ servicing and maintenance works.
  • Schedule technicians’ routine inspections and maintenance works.
  • Handle inter-tenancy fitting out works / reinstatements works.
  • Conduct safety briefings for all contractors and technicians.
  • Update ISO 14000 & 18000 documentation and assist audits.

  • Obtain quotations from Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractors and review their job scopes and specifications.
  • Plan preventive maintenance & corrective maintenance works
  • Schedule Contractors’ servicing/maintenance works
  • Schedule technicians’ routine inspections and maintenance works
  • Handle inter-tenancy fitting out works / reinstatements works
  • Conduct safety briefings for all contractors and technicians
  • Update the ISO 14000 & 18000 documentations & assist Manager for the audits.
  • In charge of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety matters
  • Review the Risk Assessment & Environment Aspect & Impact Assessment from time to time to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Review the Standard Operating Procedures e.g. emergency response procedures
  • Attend to tenants’ feedback/requests promptly
  • Any other duties assigned by the Building Manager from time to time
