Job summary

ENGIE Singapore invites applications for a senior facilities management role overseeing multiple projects and a diverse team of managers, engineers, and technicians. You will drive client relationships, quality standards, and the overall operations of facilities maintenance across Commercial and Government sectors.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years' related experience, you will lead cost reporting, budget submissions, and contract compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of related working experience.
  • Proven facility management experience in a large facility.
  • Independent with good interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, planning and organizing ability.
  • Possess high level of initiative and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple projects and lead a team of managers, engineers, technical officers, supervisors and technicians in facilities management for Commercial / Government & Business.
  • Establish good working relationships with clients and develop trust and confidence.
  • Establish and maintain quality service standards.
  • Take charge of the overall operations function of facilities maintenance work.
  • Approve and oversee maintenance activities, maintenance schedule and inspections.
  • Ensure regular meetings with clients and appointed sub providers.
  • Provide professional advice to management team, conduct and chair monthly management meeting.
  • Handle client’s enquires and provide site supervision.
  • Conduct audit inspections to ensure the outsource service providers are performing according to their contractual obligations and SLAs.
  • Manage and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works.
  • Prepare tender documents and specifications, plan, coordinate and execute rectification works.
  • Responsible for project costing, cost management reporting.
  • Plan training requirement for staff needs for skills improvement.
  • Prepare and responsible for annual budget submission, audit report, assessment report for contractors' performance.
  • Prepare and certify contractors' payment and prepare Opex and Capex.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
  • At least 10 years of related working experience
  • Proven experience in facility management in a large facility
  • Able to work Independently and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and writtenPro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure
  • Service orientated mindset
  • Strong building and M&E knowledge with hands-on experiences
  • Possess high level of initiative and integrity
  • Possess strong leadership, quality, good planning and organizing ability
