Job summary

ENGIE Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver data centre construction projects in Singapore. You will oversee planning, budgeting, procurement, and scheduling to ensure timely execution and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering/construction, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years experience in Engineering/Construction industries.
  • Familiarity with construction management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to prepare and present project reports and updates.
  • Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to data centre construction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project manager to achieve project goals.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Planning and scheduling of project timelines.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Control and monitor on quality assurance.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project.
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Communicating with all stakeholders and authority department.
  • Managing risks and issues on project execution.
  • Managing sub-contractors and vendors on project execution.
  • Assist project manager in generating weekly report for presenting project status to stakeholder.
  • Updating the Project Management plan regularly.
  • Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
  • Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.
  • Conduct a regular construction meeting to all sub-contractors and vendors to meet project timeline and goals.
  • Liaison with project stakeholders in related to project execution where neccesary
