Job summary

Seiko Wall Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning to handover.

You will guide cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement and site operations to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery while upholding quality standards. The role requires a strong track record in large-scale building façade projects, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry, with strong experience in building façade projects.
• Proven experience in managing and delivering large-scale or complex construction projects from planning through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall management of projects from planning and design to implementation, completion and handover.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams to deliver within timelines, budgets, quality standards and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including project, engineering, procurement and site teams for effective execution.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, building contractors and stakeholders to drive progress and meet expectations.
• Monitor project performance: progress, cost, quality, resources and risks; take corrective actions.
• Ensure proper project documentation, reporting and records throughout the life cycle.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and delays with mitigation measures for successful delivery.
• Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, specifications, quality, schedules and budget.
• Review performance and report costs, risks and issues to senior management.
• Support contractual and commercial matters including variation orders and claims.
• Lead teams with guidance, coaching and ensuring high standards of professionalism and teamwork.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.

1. Lead and oversee the overall management of projects from the planning and design stages through implementation, completion, and handover.


2. Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and available resources.


3. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including project, engineering, procurement, and site teams, to ensure effective project execution.


4. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, building contractors, and other key stakeholders to drive project progress and achieve customer expectations.


5. Monitor overall project performance, including progress, cost, quality, resources, and risks, and take timely corrective actions where required.


6. Ensure proper project documentation, reporting, and records are maintained throughout the entire project life cycle.


7. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and potential delays, and implement appropriate mitigation measures to ensure successful project delivery.


8. Ensure projects are completed in accordance with contractual requirements, approved specifications, quality standards, agreed schedules, and budget.


9. Review project performance and provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, costs, risks, and key issues.


10. Support and oversee contractual and commercial matters, including variation orders, claims, and other project-related contractual issues where required.


11. Lead project teams by providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high standards of performance, professionalism, and teamwork.


12. Perform any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building, Project Management, or a related field.

4. Strong leadership, organizational, project management, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.


5. Excellent ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.


6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.


7. Good working attitude with a high level of professionalism, integrity, initiative, accountability, and a strong team-oriented mindset.


8. Strong knowledge of project management processes, construction practices, and building façade works.


9. Knowledge and/or experience in contractual and commercial management will be an added advantage.


10. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
