Job summary

dadaconsultants pte. ltd. is seeking a Project Director (Construction) in Singapore to lead multiple façade and curtain wall projects from inception to completion.

You will develop strategies, schedules, budgets and allocate resources to ensure successful delivery, while coordinating with clients, architects, main contractors and authorities. The role requires strong leadership, a track record in large-scale curtain wall projects, and a solid background in façade engineering and building

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Project Director or senior project management roles in façade/curtain wall or building construction.
• Proven track record on large-scale curtain wall projects and landmark buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple façade, curtain wall, and steel/aluminium structure projects from pre-construction through project completion.
• Develop project strategies, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality compliance.
• Review designs, shop drawings, and structural calculations for compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize delays and costs.
• Monitor performance, manage contractual matters, and provide progress updates to management and stakeholders.
• Establish relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, labour providers, and fabrication partners to support execution.

Project Director (Construction)

• Lead and manage multiple façade, curtain wall, and steel/aluminium structure projects from pre-construction through project completion.
• Develop project strategies, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate closely with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee project teams to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
• Review engineering designs, technical submissions, shop drawings, and structural calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational issues.
• Monitor project performance, manage contractual matters, and provide regular progress updates to management and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, subcontractors, labour providers, and fabrication partners to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, workplace safety requirements, and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, construction methodologies, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent leadership role within the façade, curtain wall, steel structure, or building construction industry.
• Proven track record in delivering complex and large-scale curtain wall projects, including participation in at least two landmark or iconic building projects.
• Strong technical background in façade engineering with the ability to review structural calculations and engineering designs.
