Job summary

AVENSYS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to drive planning and control for large-scale capital projects in Singapore.

The role requires coordinating design, construction, procurement and project management tasks while ensuring safety and quality standards. Applicants should have extensive CPM scheduling experience, strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud, and a track record of leading scheduling efforts across multiple teams and workstreams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant project scheduling, planning, or project controls experience.
• Demonstrated experience independently developing and managing complex construction schedules.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, schedule logic, baselines, float analysis, milestone management, and progress measurement.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules and integrating multiple workstreams into an overall project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Capital Projects Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the coordination and execution of large-scale capital projects by applying established processes, systems, and methodologies.
• Your day-to-day activities will include assisting with design, construction, procurement, and project management tasks while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Capital Projects Strategic Project Planning is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Capital Project Risk Management is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Capital Project Controls & Analytics, Construction & Infrastructure Solutions, and Construction Projects is suggested.
• Lead efforts to optimize project schedules and resource allocation to enhance overall project efficiency.
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members to foster professional growth and project excellence.
• Monitor project progress and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality standards.

• Strong knowledge of critical path method scheduling, schedule logic, baselines, float analysis, milestone management, and progress measurement.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Experience performing schedule risk analysis, impact assessments, recovery planning, and schedule forecasting.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules and integrating multiple workstreams into an overall project schedule.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate schedule risks, impacts, and recommendations to project managers, contractors, and client stakeholders.
• Ability to supervise and review junior scheduling team members and independently manage scheduling for assigned projects or major work packages.
