Job summary

DURKEE ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is looking for a Project Sales Executive to drive business opportunities in the Singapore construction sector from its Kaki Bukit location.

You will manage client relationships, prepare quotations, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver projects on time. The role requires 2+ years in project sales within building materials or related industries, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and willingness to travel for customer visits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Building, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
• Minimum 2 years of project sales experience in building materials or construction equipment.
• Solid understanding of Singapore construction tendering and contract processes.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage project-based sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel for regular customer visits.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Title: Project Sales Executive (Building Materials / Solution)

Working hours: 9am - 6pm
Location: Kaki Bukit
Salary: $3500 - $4500

Responsibilities:

Business Development

• Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including developers, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and design firms.
• Identify and pursue new construction projects, tender opportunities, and government projects.
• Build and expand a strong customer network to generate new business opportunities.

Project Sales

• Promote the Company's building materials, equipment, and technical solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and commercial proposals.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and secure project orders.

Project Coordination

• Manage projects throughout the entire sales cycle, from tendering and contract award to delivery and project completion.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Installation teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Resolve issues and provide support during project implementation.

Customer Relationship Management

• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen long-term business relationships.
• Respond to customer enquiries, coordinate after-sales support, and resolve customer concerns.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling within existing accounts.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Provide market insights and recommend business development strategies.
• Represent the Company at industry exhibitions, seminars, product launches, and networking events.

Sales Performance

• Achieve assigned sales revenue, project, and profitability targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, project progress reports, and management reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Building, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project sales within the building materials, construction equipment, or engineering industry.
• Good understanding of the Singapore construction industry, including project tendering and contract processes.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage project-based sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/CRM systems.
