Job summary

CF GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a Project Engineer to join the engineering team and drive project initiatives in a capital equipment environment. You will oversee planning, design, and cross-functional coordination to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), with at least 5 years in sales or project engineering, strong communication and leadership skills, and PMP certification or equivalent desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or project engineering role, preferably in a capital equipment industry.
• PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
• Supervise and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Liaise with project sponsors, customers, and team members for effective communication.
• Ensure delivery to required quality standards and follow QA processes.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses to deliver within budget.
• Prepare and submit project reports including progress updates and schedules.

We are currently seeking a competent Project Engineer to join our dedicated team to perform the following tasks within a busy working environment:

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• 2. Design and Development: Lead the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
• 3. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• 4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
• 5. Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members, to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
• 6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, and that all quality assurance processes are followed.
• 7. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
• 8. Reporting: Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, project schedules, and budget reports.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or project engineering role, preferably in a capital equipment industry
• Skills:
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
