Job summary

Align Recruitment Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable Project Manager to drive projects from initiation to completion. You will plan schedules, budgets, and resources, and coordinate with customers, consultants, and contractors.

Regular site visits and meetings ensure progress alignment and issue resolution. The role requires 3+ years in project management or project engineering, strong stakeholder management, and solid knowledge of site operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of project management or project engineering experience.
• Experience managing engineering, industrial, construction, automation, or related projects.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of site operations, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Relevant WSH / safety certification is highly preferred, with the ability to support site safety responsibilities.
• Candidates with recognised safety qualifications and experience performing site safety duties will have a strong advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through implementation, testing, handover, and completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Ensure projects are completed according to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality requirements.
• Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Manage project documentation, progress reports, schedules, meeting minutes, and variation requirements.
• Ensure contractors and project teams comply with site requirements and safe work procedures.
• Support and oversee Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) matters at project sites.
• Conduct or coordinate risk assessments, toolbox meetings, safety inspections, and other site safety activities where required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety requirements throughout project execution.
