Job summary

CPC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned WSH leader to develop, implement, and drive corporate safety policies and KPIs across multiple sites in Singapore.

You will provide strategic safety leadership, ensure compliance with Singapore WSH legislation and ISO 45001, and lead investigations into incidents while coordinating training and safety campaigns. A track record in construction and strong stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
  • Minimum 10 years of WSH experience with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in construction, electrical engineering, power transmission, substations, or power automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation, ISO 45001 and risk management.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate WSH policies, standards, programmes, and KPIs.
  • Provide WSH leadership and strategic advice to management, projects, and sites.
  • Ensure consistent WSH compliance across all business units and sites.
  • Conduct WSH audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, and monitor corrective actions.
  • Review risk assessments, safe work procedures, emergency plans, and WSH documentation.
  • Lead investigations of serious accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Monitor WSH performance and report key trends and improvements to management.
  • Coordinate WSH training, campaigns, and safety awareness programmes.
  • Manage contractor and subcontractor WSH compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative changes and ensure timely compliance.
  • Liaise with regulators, clients, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Lead and support WSH committees, site WSH teams, and safety initiatives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous WSH improvement.
  • Support WSH certifications, accreditations, and client requirements.
  • Perform other WSH duties as assigned by senior management
