Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Project Manager (RPA & Automation) to oversee RPA solutions across BAU and new automation initiatives in a hybrid work setup in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in technology project delivery, RPA, automation or application operations.
• Hands-on experience with RPA or enterprise automation solutions.
• Ability to understand and review automation workflows, investigate failures, troubleshoot issues and assess proposed technical solutions.
• Good understanding of RPA development and operational best practices including testing, deployment and production support.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and delivery of RPA and automation solutions, ensuring service stability and timely resolution of production issues.
• End-to-end management of RPA initiatives: requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment and transition to BAU support.
• Collaborate with business users to identify processes and translate requirements into automation solutions.
• Review automation workflows, troubleshoot issues, assess root causes, and challenge vendor proposals.
• Ensure best practices: exception handling, logging, monitoring, credential management, security and maintainability.
• Coordinate releases and deployments with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Manage project plans, risks, issues, budgets and milestones within scope and financial parameters.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors; manage expectations.
• Support contract management and monitor vendor performance against SLAs.

Working Location: Chinatown

Salary Package: Up to SGD 10,000 + AWS

Employment Type: Contract (1 year renewable with chances of conversion)

We are looking for a proactive and technically hands-on Project Manager (RPA & Automation) to manage RPA solutions across both BAU operations and new automation initiatives. The role involves working closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions. The successful candidate should have hands-on RPA experience, with the ability to understand automation workflows, review solution designs, troubleshoot issues, and challenge vendor-proposed solutions. The candidate should also be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of RPA and automation solutions, ensuring service stability, reliability and timely resolution of production issues.
• Manage RPA and automation initiatives end-to-end, covering requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment and transition to BAU support.
• Work closely with business users to understand processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate business requirements into practical and supportable automation solutions.
• Apply hands-on RPA knowledge to review automation workflows, troubleshoot issues, assess root causes, and challenge solutions or recommendations proposed by vendors.
• Ensure automation solutions follow good RPA practices, including exception handling, logging and monitoring, credential and access management, security, reusability, maintainability and operational supportability.
• Manage vendor-led incident and problem management, including validating root cause analyses, proposed fixes and preventive actions for recurring automation failures.
• Coordinate releases and deployments with application, infrastructure, security and vendor teams, managing technical dependencies, timelines and production readiness.
• Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets and delivery milestones to ensure automation initiatives are delivered within agreed scope and financial parameters.
• Manage user expectations and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors.
• Support contract management and monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels and delivery commitments.
• Take on ad hoc tasks that are reasonable and relevant to the nature of the role.

Requirements
