Job summary

KGI Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project & Business Analyst to drive automation initiatives across our brokerage operations.

You will bridge Business/Operations and IT/vendor partners, identifying manual processes and translating them into automation requirements, managing delivery from scoping to go-live. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant field.
• Relevant experience in business analysis, project management, process improvement, automation, operations, or related fields; fresh graduates with internships/projects welcome.
• Proficiency in Excel (including macros/VBA) and SQL; familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate) or Python is an advantage.
• Proficiency with AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) for regular Mandarin-speaking interactions.

Responsibilities

• Map existing manual workflows with Operations, Sales, and Compliance to identify automation opportunities.
• Translate pain points into structured requirements for IT teams or external vendors.
• Prioritise automation opportunities based on effort, impact, and risk; present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end delivery of automation projects: scoping, timeline planning, milestones, risk/issue management, stakeholder reporting.
• Coordinate across IT, vendors, Operations, and Compliance to keep projects on track and resolve blockers.
• Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) — write test scenarios, execute tests, log defects, retest fixes.
• Prepare status updates, decision logs, and post-implementation reviews for senior stakeholders.
• Act as main liaison between Business/Operations and IT vendors throughout projects; ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
• Manage expectations across teams with competing priorities.

Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project & Business Analyst to drive automation initiatives across our brokerage operations. In this role, you will act as the key bridge between Business/Operations teams and IT/vendor partners, identifying manual and inefficient processes, translating them into clear automation requirements, and managing the delivery of automation projects from scoping through to go-live. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys digging into how a process works, spotting where it breaks down, and driving the fix end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Operations, Sales, and Compliance teams to map existing manual workflows (e.g. trade reconciliation, client onboarding, reporting, billing) and identify automation opportunities.


• Translate business pain points into clear, structured requirements — process flows, data mapping, logic rules, and acceptance criteria — for IT teams or external vendors to build against.


• Prioritise automation opportunities based on effort, impact, and risk, and present recommendations to stakeholders.


• Own end-to-end delivery of automation projects: scoping, timeline planning, milestone tracking, risk/issue management, and stakeholder reporting.


• Coordinate across IT, vendors, Operations, and Compliance to keep projects on track and resolve blockers quickly.


• Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing(UAT) — write test scenarios, execute testing, log defects, and retest fixes with the technical team.


• Prepare clear status updates, decision logs, and post-implementation reviews for senior stakeholders.


• Act as the main point of contact between Business/Operations and IT/vendors throughout each project, ensuring requirements are accurately understood and delivered.


• Manage expectations across teams with competing priorities and elevate where necessary.

Qualifications& Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.


• Relevant experience in business analysis, project management, process improvement, automation, operations, or related fields is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant internship, project, or academic experience are welcome to apply.


• Proficiency in Excel (including macros/VBA) and SQL; familiarity with RPA tools (e.g. UiPath, Power Automate) or Python is an advantage.
