Job summary

Buildwick Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a PUB sewer flow diversion and civil infrastructure project in Singapore. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution, managing live sewer works and interfacing with PUB, authorities and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills, with a track record in sewerage or underground utilities projects. Excellent communication with clients and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil/infrastructure construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a Project Manager or senior PM role.
• Experience in sewerage, drainage, underground utilities or pipelines.
• PUB sewerage/live sewer/flow diversion experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
• Able to coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities.

Project Manager - PUB Sewer / Flow Diversion Works

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a PUB sewer flow diversion and civil infrastructure project in Singapore.

Responsibilities include:

• Overall planning, coordination and execution of the project.
• Manage live sewer flow diversion, shaft/manhole works, pipe demolition, excavation, sewer pipe installation, grouting and reinstatement.
• Coordinate with PUB, LTA, Client, Consultants, PE, subcontractors and relevant authorities.
• Manage project programme, manpower, plant, materials, subcontractors and resources.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, authority requirements and project specifications.
• Manage high-risk activities including confined-space works, excavation, lifting operations and works within live sewer environments.
• Review method statements, risk assessments, temporary works and construction sequences.
• Monitor progress, cost, quality, safety and subcontractor performance.
• Manage stakeholder/public interfaces, traffic/pedestrian diversions and odour-control requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation/recovery measures to meet project milestones.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant civil/infrastructure construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Manager / senior project management role.
• Experience in sewerage, drainage, underground utilities or pipeline projects.
• PUB sewerage / live sewer / flow diversion experience highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of confined-space works, excavation, lifting, temporary works and authority requirements.
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with Client, Consultants, authorities and subcontractors.
• Candidates with hands-on PUB sewerage, live sewer, deep shaft/manhole and flow diversion experience will be given strong preference.
