CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. seeks a senior project engineer to lead LTA infrastructure projects in Singapore.

You will plan, manage and oversee execution from inception to handover, coordinating with LTA, consultants, subcontractors and authorities to ensure on-time delivery. You will monitor schedules, budgets and resources, review technical submissions, and lead project engineers and site teams to successful completion and handover.

Formación

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience on LTA projects in Singapore.
• Proven track record delivering LTA infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of LTA specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control and contract admin.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, plan, manage and oversee the execution of LTA projects from start to finish.

• Monitor progress, schedules, budgets, manpower and resources for timely completion.
• Ensure activities comply with LTA specs, drawings, contracts and regulations.
• Lead and guide project engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Review submissions, drawings, method statements and documentation.
• Identify risks, resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor costs, variation orders, progress claims and overall performance.
• Conduct site inspections and coordination meetings for quality and safety.
• Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, defect rectification and handover.

Job Responsibilities：

• Lead, plan, manage and oversee the overall execution of LTA projects from project commencement to completion.
• Coordinate and liaise with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, construction schedules, budgets, manpower and resource allocation to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with LTA specifications, approved drawings, contractual requirements and relevant statutory regulations.
• Lead, supervise and provide guidance to project engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Review and monitor technical submissions, construction drawings, method statements and project documentation.
• Identify potential project risks, resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimise delays.
• Monitor project costs, variation orders, progress claims and overall project performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and project coordination meetings to ensure work quality and safety compliance.
• Prepare and submit project progress reports to management and clients.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, defect rectification and final project handover.

Job Requirements：

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in LTA projects in Singapore.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering LTA infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of LTA specifications, construction standards, procedures and authority requirements.
• Good understanding of Singapore construction regulations, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and site safety practices.
• Experienced in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control and contract administration.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage project teams, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Good problem-solving, communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of Primavera P6 will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently, manage tight deadlines and ensure successful project delivery.
