Job summary

CCECC Singapore Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction and infrastructure projects from planning through completion. You will develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans while coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and authorities to ensure on-time delivery.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage risks, monitor costs and ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction/civil engineering.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction/infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience in LTA projects in Singapore is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations, project specs and contractual requirements.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong planning, budgeting, cost-control and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

Lead and manage the overall execution of construction and infrastructure projects from commencement to completion.

Develop project schedules, work programmes, budgets and resource allocation plans.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion in accordance with contractual requirements.

Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Site Operations & Coordination

Oversee daily site operations and ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.

Resolve technical and operational issues to minimise delays and disruptions.

Ensure effective coordination among project teams and various departments.

Cost & Contract Management

Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and overall financial performance.

Manage contractual matters, variation orders, progress claims and subcontractor performance.

Ensure effective utilisation of manpower, materials, equipment and other project resources.

Review project expenditure and implement cost-control measures.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards and relevant Singapore regulations.

Oversee the implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures.

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and environmental regulations.

Work closely with the safety and quality teams to maintain high standards across project sites.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead, supervise and motivate project teams, including engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors.

Provide guidance and direction to ensure effective project execution.

Conduct regular project meetings and report progress, challenges and key issues to senior management.

Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, government agencies and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction or civil engineering industry.

Proven experience in managing large-scale construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Prior experience in LTA projects in Singapore will be an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations, project specifications and contractual requirements.

Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams.

Strong project planning, budgeting, cost-control and problem-solving skills.
